I’ve had a little bit of a secret nightmare the last 3 weeks. My Gin Fizz necklace and earrings suddenly had a ‘run’ and I had more orders then I could fulfill. This has never been a problem before a my supplier of beads (geniune lead crystal chandelier beads) sends them out next day delivery, no problem.
However, the last batch were in a terrible state, all scratched and chipped, this was after I had bought the wrong size and returned them. They then told me (after I had waited a good few days) that they didn’t actually have the size I needed any more. This left me feeling like having strung several customers out for a good few days whilst I restocked.
The beads had to be the same kind, as I am quite obsessive about these things and had chosen the hexagonal style originally after much thought and the only ones I could find were in Canada or China. That’s some extra wait for my customers whilst they arrive!
So, I contacted my lovely customers AGAIN and explained and they have all been so fantastic and patient about it, they all said they were fine with the wait! I had been preparing to issue refunds.
Anyway, 1 week later, all my beads have arrived, they are packaged brilliantly (so are fine after their long journey from Canada) and are actually a much better quality that the ones I had before.
