Show and tell ~ 2 commissions

Two special jewellery designs to share today.

Firstly a long delicate pendant featuring porcelain pink opal with labradorite, pearl and Swarovski beads.

To enhance to colours, I oxidized and polished the silver. I think it really brings out the pale pink of the opal.

You may remember in a previous blog post that I have recently made a customer a bespoke charm bracelet and earrings, well, she was delighted and has asked me to make a further pendant on a 20in chain to complete the look.
Finished with an oxidized and polished look to match the other jewellery in the set.

What totally made my day was the wonderful feedback I received:

Hi Rachel,

Just had to let you know how thrilled I am with my necklace.

Together with my bracelet and earrings it makes the most stunning set of jewellry I have ever seen.

I also love the fact that is a OOAK.

You have made me something that is perfect for my taste – I showed the set to a friend who’s reaction was…. ‘that’s such a Mary style of jewellry’!

Thank you so much for your time and trouble and I will be back next year for some more stunning pieces. I think my best girlfriends need some Rachel Lucie jewellry in their lives so I will be present buying soon.

I love what I do, anyway, but that kind of feedback really puts the icing on the cake!
