It’s nearly the end of my International blog competition, closing date it tomorrow 31st March 8pm GMT.

Just to recap, you can win this fabulous purple puss handmade by Kirsten of Quernus Crafts.

All you have to do is think of a name for the gorgeous green cat I bought from her to sit on my craft fair table to bring me luck. Here he is:

Here’s the entries so far:

Whiskers
Verdigris
Meauve
Schrodes
Patrick
Eric
Nittik
Laertes
Sir Franklin Muzzlepuff
Peashoot

Got a better name? Simply follow the instructions below and purple puss could be on his way to YOU!

To take part:

  • Think of a great name, I decided  the cat was a ‘he’ but if you disagree, and come up with a fantastic ‘she’ name, I could be persuaded….
  • Go to Kirsten’s Quernus Crafts Folksy shop, or her blog or her etsy shop and get either the url or name of your favourite wee creature, I’m warning you, it’s difficult to choose!
  • Post both in the comments below or in the original post, along with your email address.
  • Got another great name? If you tweet about the competition, you get another entry (leave the url of the tweet and your twitter id in the comments also).
  • Oh, and if you blog about it, you get another entry (again, put the url in the comments here)
  • Unlimited entries via above methods, although each entry must be a new name.
Closing date is Wednesday 31st of March, and the winning name will be picked from a hat.

Best of luck!

You are so right..hard to decide, but think I love the wee pumpkin cat the best, but really also loved the ponies too!
As for your cat, definitely female IMHO, and her colour makes it obvious, her name should be Granny Smith!

Cats are always master of any house and seen as they're part of the family how about Lord Johns? (although I prefer Lady Johns)

I know its the wrong time of year but I love these christmas kitty cats.

I think as your cat was bought to bring you Luck that a very appropriate name would be "Luckie"

Had a look through the shop and they are all lovely but there was one little cat that is absolutely perfect which was this one

Ok how about Cash-Us Clay. Sort of a play on Cassius Clay, but Cash since it is supposed to be for good luck and Clay since that is what it is made out of.

I think your green cat is actually a she and immediately Matilda or Maude came to mind. Those are the names that came to me when I saw that colour green.

I like the wee horses from Quernus's Folksy shop here http://www.folksy.com/items/348673-Wee-Horse?shop=yes

    I love their floppy fringes!

    Thanks
