I’m working on a collection of pearl earrings and necklaces, incorporating different coloured semi-precious stones.
I have concentrated on 3 colours of freshwater pearl – white, silver and mauve, and given each it’s own selection of micro-faceted gems to choose from. White pearls come with lapis lazuli, rhodonite garnet, lemon quartz or tanzanite. Silver pearls come with carnelian, citrine, peridot or aquamarine and mauve pearls can be found with rhodonite garnet, rose quartz, clear quartz or amethyst.
I love all these gorgeous jewels, and the chance to use such a selection with all their gorgeous colours is a real treat! A simple design for the earrings and pendant necklace works best, I think. They will be great for birthdays, or anyone who just loves colour.
Look out for them on my website and Notonthehighstreet very soon!

Here’s a close up of what I made for the day. First you can see some gorgeous green garnet and pearl drops which went perfectly with the suit worn by Kim, and matching necklace.
Next we have the copper turquoise, tourmaline and rhodonite garnet necklace, worn by Danielle, and matching earrings.
I was delighted to receive these beautiful photos from a dear customer, Abi from Sew You Handmade!
Like me, Abi loves green and teal shades and has had a few pairs of earrings from me before. She was so delighted to team her ‘Eau De Nil’ aventurine earrings with her new (gorgeous!) brogues, that she got out her camera and shared it with me.
