I have some very exciting things to tell you about for this coming weekend. Not one, but two.
Firstly there is the reopening of the wonderful Hat Therapy shop! Chrissie and Stephen have been working very hard and have taken the opportunity of the Boxing Day Flood damage to revamp the shop and I think you’ll be surprised and delighted with the new look. It is really looking amazing, and on Saturday 14th there will be Pimms aplenty for anyone who would like to pop by and say hello, and take a look at the hats, bags and other accessories Chrissie makes.
And the second event you must visit this weekend is the Hebden Bridge Folk Roots Festival. With events over the whole weekend starting from Friday onwards and in a range of venues all over town, you can find out more from their website. I will be taking part in their Craft Show, which is at the Town Hall, in Hebden Bridge. I am really excited as I bagsied a last minute stall – this morning, would you believe! My only regret is that it means I won’t be able to partake of Hat Therapy Pimms, although if I ask nicely, she might save me one.
You can find the details of the show below:
Now I have lots to do and make before the weekend – busy busy!
It’s great to see so many of our shops, businesses, and fantastic weekend events are back with a vengeance, just in time for summer. You can spend a lovely day wandering around our lovely town, starting with a nice Pimms at Hat Therapy. What fun!
