Le Tour fever is spreading over here in the valley!

Rachel Lucie Jewellery Tour De France Photo Shoot Toast of Leeds

All the local talk is of just how busy will it get? Who will get stranded up in the tops (all roads will be closed on the day from 6.30am, so locals living their may have a long walk ahead!)? Where IS the best place to view it? Which Tour party to go to?

Every shop has a yellow bicycle outside – either a small sign, a sticker or an actual yellow bike, apart from the Mobility centre, which has a yellow wheelchair. I like their style! I’m debating putting up a yellow bike on my website – but would it be appropriate for a website? I’m yet to decide.

Last week the Hebden Bridge Picture House screened ‘A Boy, A Girl and a Bike’ which is the very film we took as inspiration for our Tour-themed photo shoot, but sadly I missed it. However, today, exciting news – a great Yorkshire blogger, Anna from Angel In The North has blogged about our shoot and included lots and lots of the photos. Always nice to wake up and find you’ve been featured I must say.

So thanks, Anna! You might want to pop over to Angel In The North and take a look.

In other news, I’ve had a facelift on my website, with a lovely new theme, and have been upgrading the blog here and my gallery to match. I hope you like it. If you bob around and find any holes, problems, or just can’t find what you want, please do drop me a line.

If you are wanting to come to Hebden Bridge to see the race come through, check out the Visit Calderdale website for information about Park and Rides and a timetable etc. Have a great Tour weekend, and maybe see you in town, if you pop in for the day!
