Daffodowndilly
by A.A. Milne
She wore her yellow sun-bonnet,
She wore her greenest gown;
She turned to the south wind
And curtsied up and down.
She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbour:
“Winter is dead.”
I was editing this picture that I took at Biddulph Grange over the Easter weekend, and this poem just popped into my head. I am ashamed to say that I didn’t know that it was by A.A. Milne!
Have a great weekend :)
