I have had a lot of fun with a commission I’ve been working on this week for two full sets of jewellery for a customer to wear to a wedding. As always, through talking to the customer, and based on my designs, between us we came up with a new twist on some of my designs that will go perfectly with two outfits she has.

Here’s some photos of what I created for Wendy, but please bear with me as I am getting to grips with a new camera this week and we (the camera and I) are having some teething troubles!

bespoke handmade chrysanthemum necklace

A custom version of my Chrysanthemum pearl cluster necklace, combining silver pearls, cream pearls and a little matching sparkle with Swarovski black diamond beads.

Matching charm bracelet with beads of the same colour, but mixing up the look by using random different sizes.

Here is the set together, and you can see the matching Long Pearl earrings with silver baroque pearls which completes the look. They will be the accessories for a gorgeous pewter lace dress – I can’t wait to see pictures!

The second jewellery set is based around my Louise earrings and necklace. Wendy wanted a simpler pendant style necklace, because of a plunging neckline on her LBD, so we used the same arrangement as the earrings.

For the bracelet here, we mixed things up a bit by using creamy nugget pearls which contrast with the Swarovski briolette beads beautifully. The Louise necklace uses faceted black spinel beads.

I have some more commissions on the pipeline, I can’t wait to share them with you!

Well, your camera work looks really good – the depth of field is effective – and the necklace is lovely.
