I’m always intrigued by waste ground and how nature regenerates and carries on. I snapped this picture today as we were wandering through town, I just love foxgloves, and the poppies are gorgeous with them. Sometimes you just can’t beat nature, can you?

And in other news… I have shut my shops this week. I have some sorting and filing at home in preparation for the big move to the loft for my studio, and some issues with my son’s school which need to be resolved. Sometimes you just can’t do it all.

My shops will reopen on 25th June – you can still order on rachellucie.co.uk, but your order will be posted next week.

I think I’ll squeeze a little blogging in, though ;)

yes, I have a thing about the random bits of rubbish you find on them, too. I have many dreams of finding discarded items – I’m sure that means something, not sure what!

I love wasteland, there are always so many design ideas to be found and also the bonus of finding random discarded items that can be turned into something else! great post! xxx
