Hebden Bridge view by Rachel Johns 1

Well, half term was a wash out, and the gorgeous weather we had a few weeks ago totally vanished before the kids were off school. I’m really glad I took the time to just go and sit in the peaceful meadow behind my house the other day.

I decided, as I always do, that I would make more time to go out and take advantage of my gorgeous surroundings, but it’s so easy to get bogged down with work and household chores, isn’t it?

Is it just me that feels it’s a rude indulgence if I throw in the towel for the morning and go for a walk on my own in the woods instead or working or cleaning?

Well a couple of weeks ago I decided to just go and sit in the field behind my house. I sat there for over an hour, taking some pictures of the view near and far, and finding different places to sit and ponder. It was glorious!

I WILL do it more often. I’ve decided!

Love this blog! The photos of the bluebells (harebells??) are gorgeous. We all need to take a leaf out of your book and run off into the fields for some down-time!
