You’re supposed to save the best for last, aren’t you. Sorry, but I can’t! These earrings and necklace set, called Metropolitan from my new jewellery are my very favourite thing at the moment.

I created these designs using blue lace agate which is a beautiful periwinkle blue colour with fine marbling, making it one of my favourite stones.

I decided to oxidize the silver to really set off that colour, and combined the odd touch of gold with the rolled gold link and random chains.
And at the very bottom of the gorgeous figaro chain, a tiny emerald.
I was really inspired by the colours and feel of the Art Nouveau styling of the Paris Metropolitan, designed by Hector Guimard.

My new designs will be available to buy from mid-April, after their launch at the British Craft Trade Show in a couple of weeks – watch this space!
