Just a quick post today with some pictures of the fair, as I have come back to loads of orders today :)
The family popped over for the day to take part in all the events and have a quick visit. Lily wanted to stay and play shops.
I had a fantastic time, got lots of sales, chatted to lots of lovely customers and interesting people, and met some wonderful makers. Some like Catherine Woodall, a wonderful jewellery artist who only lives up the valley from me, but I have never met before!
And also Manda McGrory
, previously only known to me as TreefallDesigns on Twitter – she’s very funny, as well as talented, you should follow her! I was near to the lovely Cathy Edwards from CE Leather Goods, here’s some of her work.
Here’s some better pictures (than the one from my phone the other day) of my stall:
This orchid that Gary bought me to go on the stand was the star of the show, and got more compliments than my jewellery!
Victoria Hall is a stunning building, a great setting for the fair
This fair’s most looked at item that didn’t sell. There’s always one that lots of people comment on and don’t buy
Love vintage cake stand for putting my business cards on, they always go a treat.
Dazzle, so dainty and versatile, always a best seller at fairs.
I also bought a gorgeous brooch from Karen Belarouci, which goes wonderfully with my Makepiece jacket I bought the other week..pictures another day.
Looking forward to my next fair on 25th June…more on that very soon, too!
