An old friend of mine, Kavey, asked me to make her a special variation on my Avalon pendant. She wanted to use her own chain, and asked me to make her pendant a little bit different from the normal one.

Here’s what I came up with:

The semi-precious stones I used are garnet, citrine, amethyst, green garnet and carnelian. I love the vibrant colours you can get from rocks!

Kavey was kind enough to tweet a picture of her wearing the pendant, I always love to get customer photos. You know how nosey I am!

I love that chain she’s used with it.

You should check out Kavey’s blog ‘Kavey Eats‘ not only does she eat, but she reviews restaurants, writes about her travels and shares recipes – right up my street :)

Well, you know, I loved the Avalon but wanted my own unique piece that no-one else would have! And boy, didn't I dither about which 5 colours I liked for weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks.

    I haven't taken it off since I got it…
