‘Twas the night before Christmas, and before all the mayhem commences, I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I also wanted to give my heartfelt thanks to anyone following, or taking an occasional interest in my little blog, I love having you here!
I have had a fantastic 2010, my busiest yet by far. Since the beginning of October I have fulfilled over 200 separate orders! The majority are from Notonthehighstreet, which has really done well for me this year.
I’ve managed to achieve the main goals I set for myself in 2010: I’ve finally built rachellucie.co.uk, I was featured in Vogue magazine, and have been accepted to the BCTF in April next year. And I’ve finally been able to buy a proper DSLR camera just last week, which I am looking forward to using (understatement!). My craft fairs were much more successful – due to my stall redesign? I’ve also had some lovely blog interviews, too.
So, what’s in store for next year? Well, I need the little bit of free time after all that business to really take stock, but I think making my own website a really busy success and working on increasing my bricks and mortar stockists has to be a good start.
I’m taking a much needed rest in all my shops until the beginning of January. However, I’ll be working on my Spring / Summer collections and probably be doing a bit of tweeting and blogging, of course!
I hope whatever you get up to, you have a wonderful time, relaxing, jolly and plenty of fun with friends and family.
Merry Christmas!
