It’s been a spooky night up in Hebden Bridge this evening!

Lily’s pumpkin (aged 4)

Both of my children (ages 7 and 4) have been very reluctant to go trick or treating so far, but we made the front room all spooky, bought some treats and waited for the hoards of Hebden Bridge zombies, vampires, ghouls, witches and ghosties to pop round.

A full compliment of pumpkins, tea lights, spooky spiders and glittery bats awaited them.

Two pumpkins enabled us to made four separate faces – why shouldn’t the people on the inside be treated to a scary face too?!

Robert’s pumpkin (aged 7)

A great time was had by all, and all our treats are well and truly gone – no tricks in sight this year, thankfully!

Enjoy the rest of your halloween, whatever you get up to :)

What’s that behind you?

I should point out that the kids did their picture on paper and I transferred it, and did the cutting. Maybe I should have explained that – my 4yr old carving a pumpkin herself?!
