Cakewalk Vintage ~ shopping in Ilkley

13th October 2010 4 Comments

You may remember in this post I told you about a boutique stockist of mine in Ilkley – Cakewalk Vintage.

Emma herself

Well, Cakewalk have moved! Not far, in fact just downstairs to a bigger and better shop with more room for Emma’s wonderful collection of vintage and handmade delights.

(can you spot me in this one?)

I went to the relaunch on Saturday and the place was buzzing! I met some lovely makers who I know online, and managed to miss meeting more makers who I also know online….oops!

These pictures are courtesy of  Rachael of Rachael Taylor Designs and Gail from Seventyseventyone Design. Thanks girls!

Cakewalk is an absolute treasure trove of delights; hip and cool vintage, a bit of Victoriana, Kitchenalia, modern clean design and the best national and local designer / makers.

You simply must go!

I know what you mean, Lynsey, I almost missed everyone – but did see Paula!

Glad to hear it was busy all day, it's such a fantastic shop!
