My brand new boots!

Sometimes it’s a liability living in Hebden Bridge. There are some wonderful shops here, and that’s where the trouble begins…

I bought them from the fantastic, and rather famous Ruby Shoesday. They stock all kinds of cool and trendy brands with an emphasis ones that are hard wearing, often hand finished and well, just gorgeous. You’ll find Merrell, Clarks, Art, Fly, El Natura Lista, Keen, Camper to name but a few.

Check out my newest purchase, a pair of gorgeous inky purple Art boots, aren’t they to die for?!

You must check out the Ruby Shoesday website if you can’t get there in person. Apparently they get many online orders from all over Europe and the US.

I have terrible trouble getting shoes let alone boots that fit me. I have wide feet, and try to avoid the whole shoe shop experience so that I don’t leave weeping at all the gorgeous shoes that don’t fit (on the plus side, I do have a very good sense of balance…).

So, back to the boots! They fit, they look wonderful, I can wear them both under or over my jeans, and I can now get my legs out in skirts again (with suitably thick tights, let’s not be rash).

Just one more look….

glad you remembered you'd left them in that shop then! It was worth the dash back across town!

    everyone is feeling the bootslove!

wore them today on the school run with jeans tucked in for the first time, about 5 people stopped me and said they were gorgeous. I need to remember it's the BOOTS not me that are the megastars here, before my ego gets too big!

Beautiful! I spent far too much money last time I went shopping in Hebden Bridge! Most times I just do the charity shops :)
