Thanks again to Insomniac Mummy who found my ‘briar rose‘ earrings and put them her wishlist for her husband to buy her for their 8th anniversary. How romantic is that?

Normally I send off my little parcels to customers wondering where they are going, what they will do, what occasion they are for. It’s quite an exciting thing to let your imagination run wild with, and I a bit of a daydreamer.

Wonderful Insomniac Mummy has a fantastic blog, very poinient and funny to those of us blessed with small terrorists called children, go and have a look!

Imagine my happy surprise when today I found her blog post ‘just pretending to be grown-ups‘ which eloquently describes her romantic anniversary meal with Mr H, the beautiful food, wine, grown-up company without the kids and my earrings (sorry, her earrings). What more could a designer wish for? Briar rose earrings were wined and dined, part of a beautiful gesture of love. Ahhhh.

All the more poinient because a romantic grown-up meal with my other half is a rare thing, these days. Thank you Insomniac Mummy, you made my day! xx
