I popped into town (Hebden Bridge) last Saturday for a mooch without the children (this is a rare treat) which meant I could go into some of our more interesting and unique shops without having heart failure that they are going to loose/drop/eat something whilst my back is turned.
Ahh! Bliss!
I popped in to see Amy at Ribbon Circus, a real Aladdin’s cave of beautiful haberdashery, ribbons (of course!) trimmings, beads and craft items. Mainly spurred by Amy’s facebook page here about a magical visitor!
I generally try to avoid buying things when I don’t have an idea of what I’ll use them for, as I am a terrible magpie and hoarder, but I couldn’t resist these little French gems from Paris that contain the tiniest dried flowers (such as scarlet pimpernels, I love that flower!) . Amy was very patient whilst I got all of them out on the counter to choose a selection ~ have a look at what I chose:

They measure about 20mm, aren’t they just like little confections!
Those tiny blue flowers are literally 2mm across, so cute!
This is definitely a scarlet pimpernel, not sure what the other flowers are.
Not that it matters, because these little wonders can sit near my desk for inspiration and to play with, and never be used
But what do you think I could do with them?

    Hi Catherine!

I just love them, they sit on my desk and distract me in the best way, I just keep picking them up!
do they have a proper French name?
