I’ve had a really busy 10 days, busy in the best way – lots of orders from etsy and notonthehighstreet and some commissions to make also. I thought I’d share some of the pieces I have been making with you, so you can see ‘what’s hot’ with Rachel Lucie Jewellery Designs at the moment.
‘Dazzle’ Swarovski Crystal sterling silver earrings. Available in 21 colours, there’s always a few of these being ordered.
‘Blue Square Green Leaf’ kyanite and green garnet sterling silver earrings. These have proved a big hit, and I am very pleased to have found a source for more of these stunning denim-blue kyanite beads.
‘Of The Sea’ a mixed semi-precious stone and sterling silver one-of-a-kind necklace which I only listed last week, gone already! I will be making something similar again, I loved it!
‘Mocha’ smoky quartz sterling silver earrings and pendant. I sold these as a set for the first time this week. It’s a great feeling to think that someone likes a particular design of mine to buy a set. It has lead me to ideas about developing my gift set range in my stores shortly.
Copper turquoise, prehnite and Swarovski crystal sterling silver pendant and earrings went to two different customers of my notonthehighstreet shop this week, it’s proved a popular exclusive design there.
‘Smoky Pebbles’ smoky quartz large wire sterling silver earrings. A very versatile design, which I hope to develop to use other stones. Mind you, smoky quartz is so sublime…
‘Seafoam’ one of a kind amazonite and coin pearl sterling silver earrings.
‘Warm’ smoky quartz, garnet and aubergine pearl sterling silver earrings and necklace, sold as a gift set.
‘Pearl Drops’ white freshwater pearl sterling silver earrings. This simple design is another successful one, which I do in a few different colours. I wonder if this pair was for a wedding? I am really excited about these as tonight I have been buying more pearls, so expect to see some beautiful new colours of pearl drops in my shops soon!
‘Jewels’ copper turquoise and natural colour freshwater pearl sterling silver lever arch earrings. These are the perfect example of the kind of retro vintage chic I want to achieve with my jewellery. They include copper turquoise, which was the first type of stone I bought on a 16″ strand just over a year ago when I decided I wanted to design jewellery. You can see they have sentimental value for me!
I’d best get going, I have some more to make now.
