Making making making Jewellery

I have been busy, making, photographing, cataloguing, editing and finally listing some new jewellery for my online shops. Have a sneaky preview…

First here is ‘lemon balm’. Pale yellow chalcedony nugget, oxidized sterling silver earrings.

I just love the soft, translucent, spring-like colour of these beads, and wanted to combine them with oxidized silver which I think contrasts beautifully. The earrings are handforged by me to my own design using square wire, I think this design can be used to enhance many different beads. I have already made amazonite, clear quartz and garnet which will soon make their way into my etsy shop.

Next we have my new ecelectic idea of a collection of semi-precious stone beads that contrast in colour and shape to form interesting necklaces.
So far I have listed ‘assembly’, a rock and rose quartz, amethyst, tourmaline, prehnite and garnet sterling silver necklace…

…and ‘ceylon’, pyrites, chrysoprase, tourmaline, garnet and amethyst sterling silver necklace.

New for NotOnTheHighStreet I have listed these gorgeous translucent rose quartz nugget earrings, which are combined with dainty dancing labradorite briolettes.

There is a similar design of pendant and chain to be listed soon (tonight?). I just love the way the rose quartz seems to glow from within.
