Great Weather and New Jewellery

I think this fantastic weather we have been blessed with recently has really helped my motivation to finish those pieces I just never quite got round to, dito those photos and listings, or finally use some of the new beads I have been obsessively hoarding like nuts over the winter months.

So I did it! I finally made the charm bracelet I promised in this post. Called ‘orbit of love’ like it’s sister earrings, and it’s made from chrysoprase and pink tourmaline with the addition of some fantastic silver/grey freshwater pearls. The charm bracelet and all components are oxidized sterling silver. I have actually been dreaming about this bracelet!

My new ‘ice’ earrings. I just love these hexagonal quartz tube beads, they remind me of ice cubes. In fact, I’ve been wanting to save them all for myself! I have never seen this shape before, so grab them before I change my mind…These are rustic-looking hand shaped quartz beads, not mass-produced glass beads and are slightly irregular in shape with occasional slight cloudy patches, which together with the oxidized sterling silver, adds to their charm, I think. They have already been included in a fantastic treasury!

‘Seafoam’ Coin Pearl and Amazonite Sterling Silver Earrings. A combination of some of my favourite colours, which remind me of the sky and the sea. I also like the contrast of the angular stack of amazonite beads with the flat liquid-like grey/mauve pearls.

All three are now listed in my etsy shop
